Welcome.

I am a queer writer, researcher, storyworker, mentor, editor and teacher. Primarily, I work with stories and help other people work with their stories and the stories they want to make.

On any given day, this means you can find me editing, mentoring, teaching, resource-gathering, writing, constellating, space-making, tarot reading and co-creating.

At the heart of my work is the desire to make better worlds by telling better stories– meaning stories that are true, layered, felt, liberating, resourcing, loving and engaged in the work of deinstitutionalising bodies and knowledges.

Currently, among other things, this looks like supporting individuals and groups to liberate their creative expression from institutionalising forms, co-hosting workshops on writing with non-monogamy, and co-creating work on witching, feminism and academia.

offerings

  • mentoring

I provide mentoring to support individuals and groups who want to more fully inhabit their creative, intellectual and felt capacities. My mentoring work is supported by somatic, relational, queer, deinstitutionalising and feminist frameworks and tools.

I also help people to navigate within and out of institutions that are causing them harm.

  • deinstitutionalising

I create spaces for individuals and groups to talk about and sense into their encounters with institutions and how these encounters have shaped their bodies, narratives and perspectives.

I also make, co-make and share resources for anyone looking to understand the institutions we’re in and wanting to move together towards better worlds.

  • writing & editing support

I offer attuned and relational editing and writing support, drawing on my expertise as a writer of academic research, creative non-fiction, public writing and poetry, as well as a reader of literature and critical theory.

Services include (but are not limited to): writing tutorials, somatics for writers, structural editing, constellating, and proofreading.

  • talks & workshops

I devise, facilitate and co-facilitate embodied writing, tarot, reading and making workshops within galleries, universities and other public spaces.

I also give public talks on tarot, literature, queer theory, academia, shame and bad sex, among others.

My facilitation is grounded in my training as a queer feminist academic and my deep and ongoing interest in the stories we tell about ourselves and the world.

  • tarot

I have been reading tarot since I was a teenager, influenced by seeing my mum read them when I was little and by a fascination with story, intuition, subjugated knowledges and witchy modalities.

I host regular tarot reading, mentoring and teaching sessions and also offer in-person and distance readings. I also write with tarot.
