creative non-fiction

I write and make art about queer embodiments, popular music, and subjugated knowledges – particularly witchcraft and tarot. My work spans creative non-fiction, life–writing, poetry [both spoken word and page], and academic writing. I was the 2019 recipient of the Antonia Fraser Award for my work on Anaïs Nin, bad sex and shame.

My most recent work, ‘three tarot cards for the new mother’ was published as part of Blood and Cord: Writers on Early Parenthood (Emma Press, 2023) and also won Sheffield University’s 2023 Experimental Writing Prize. For more examples of my creative non-fiction, please see below.
